Welcome to Dr. Zahed Memorial Child hospital

A free “Sunday Clinic” started its journey in 1980 and later full-fledged child hospital began functioning in 1982. During the period the then Dutch ambassador in Bangladesh and Finnish Free Foreign Mission, Faridpur provided assistance for its infrastructural development. Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) also extended financial help for its physical improvement. Later on Canadian High Commission, The Arabian Consulting Engineering Centre, Jeddah and many other generous organizations of home and abroad made remarkable donations which led to the establishment of a full fledged 50 bed Child Hospital that gradually attained the capacity of 100 bed for the children and 20 bed for Gynae patients.
